10 Valentine's Day Date Ideas That She'll Love

Good morning! It's Monday and we are that much closer to finishing out the first month of 2018. But, that means Valentine's Day is just two weeks away and with that special day around the corner, I'm sure there are some hopeless romantics out there who have been waiting for the day they get to spoil their person. But for the rest of you, there may be some Valentine's Day nerves coming up right about now. Nevertheless, you're in good hands. I'm a hopeless romantic female. I'm as close to Cupid as you are going to get. I've watched The Notebook at least 12 times and have watched every season of The Bachelor so, I would say I'm pretty qualified. Here are your 10 date ideas that can win over any girl and, hopefully, will make Valentine's Day a little less stressful.

1. Cook her dinner, even if it's ramen, pancakes or homemade pizza and rent a movie. Don't underestimate a night in with pajamas and a sappy movie.

2. Go roller skating. Yes, this may seem very cheesy, '90s movie-esk but it's a classic and is perfect for newer couples who are still getting to know each other.

3. Go on a second first date. Reminisce about where it all started and how it all began. It went so well the first time, why not try it again? If it ain't broke don't fix it.

4. Go for a bike ride. Bike somewhere and get some ice cream, shop or be a tourist around your nearest city. I can't imagine a more perfect way to spend the day.

5. Go hiking. This is the perfect date if you're on a budget and trying to stay active.

6. Drive to the nearest beach and spend the day there. Drink some piña coladas
(ehm, virgin of course), swim, tan and just get away from normal life for a few hours.

7. Go to a basketball game, baseball game, hockey game, cricket match. It doesn't even have to be a sport she loves just go and enjoy each other's company, and some popcorn.

8. Drive somewhere and watch the sunrise. Afterwards, go out to breakfast. This kind of date breaks the stereotypical mold of fancy candlelight dinner and is perfect for an adventurous couple. But, make sure she is a morning person before you drag her out of bed at 5 am or you may be spending the next Valentine's Day alone.

9. Go bowling. Enjoy an order of cheese fries and pizza and make it a low key night. This keeps the date light and pressure-free.

10. Have a picnic. Picnics are completely underrated. Find a comfy blanket, a footlong sub and an open field or park and boom, you have a date. It's easy, cheap and will win over any girl.

I wish you all luck! Remember, Valentine's Day isn't about the gifts or dates, just show the people you care about some love. And if none of these dates spark your interest, a box of chocolates works every time (I love Lindor chocolate truffles...just saying). Don't stress too much about it and I'll talk to you guys next Monday!

xoxo
